Mike Elledge
Native of Huntsville, Alabama, Mike moved to the Nashville area in August 2005. He joined CPACG as an intern in January 2009 initially focusing in individual income tax preparation. After the internship was completed, CPACG asked Mike to continue working with the team expanding his experience into audit and other accounting services. Mike balances his internship with his role as a courier at FedEx which he has held since May, 1999.
Mike is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Volunteer State Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Business and Commerce. During his tenure at Volunteer State, he was recognized as a Business Student of the Month, was awarded a full academic scholarship, and served as a President’s Ambassador for the college. In addition, he became a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Kappa Beta Delta.
Mike is currently completing coursework at Lipscomb University towards the completion of a Masters Degree in Professional Accountancy. While at Lipscomb University, he was presented the Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain Award of Excellence in Accounting. Upon graduation, he plans to take the required examinations to obtain the Certified Public Accountant licensure.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Megan and daughter KaiLee. He also enjoys exercising and playing sports, watching and discussing Alabama football, and spending time outdoors.
